These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of LucidSwap. By using the service, you accept them.

What LucidSwap is
LucidSwap is an interface that requests quotes from an independent exchange provider and displays the route. The provider executes the swap and receives your deposit. LucidSwap never holds, custodies, or controls your assets or private keys. The provider’s own terms, fees, and screening policies also apply.
Quotes, rates, and fees
A quote is valid only for the exact asset, network, amount, addresses, memo or tag, and deposit window shown. A floating-rate quote is an estimate and the final amount may differ. A fixed-rate quote applies only if the full payment arrives on time and every instruction is followed.
The provider’s fee is included in the quote. We do not add a separate platform markup in the current setup. We may receive a share of the provider’s fee under a partner agreement; it is paid by the provider and is already inside the rate you see. The network fee for sending your deposit is paid from your wallet.
A quote may be recalculated, delayed, declined, or refunded if the payment is late, incomplete, split, or duplicated; the asset, network, amount, memo, or tag is wrong; or the provider cannot execute it.
Your responsibilities
Check every detail before sending. Blockchain transfers are irreversible. You alone bear any loss caused by a wrong or incompatible address, asset, network, amount, memo, or tag; an expired, late, reused, split, or duplicate deposit; an unsupported asset; or a compromised wallet or device. You must own or be authorised to use every wallet involved and are responsible for your own taxes.
Compliance and refunds
Providers screen addresses and transactions for sanctions, fraud, and blockchain risk. A provider may hold or freeze a deposit, output, or refund if the law or a competent authority requires it, or if screening links the assets to theft, fraud, or sanctions. LucidSwap cannot lift or speed up a freeze.
If a swap cannot be completed after a valid deposit, the provider will attempt a refund where the asset, network, and screening allow it, less network and recovery costs. The refund goes to the refund address you provided or, if you did not provide one, to the sending address. No refund or recovery is guaranteed.
Eligibility and prohibited use
You must be at least 18 and legally able to use digital-asset exchange services. The Service is not available where crypto-asset use is prohibited by law, or to anyone under comprehensive sanctions, sanctioned, listed, or acting for such a person.
You must not use the Service to break any law or sanction; to launder money, finance terrorism, or exchange stolen, fraudulent, or sanctioned assets; to facilitate ransomware, scams, or other crime; to manipulate quotes or provider controls; to attack, scrape, or bypass the Service; or to impersonate anyone. We may refuse, suspend, or end access at any time.
No warranties and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Digital assets are high-risk and total loss is possible. To the fullest extent the law allows, LucidSwap disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of profits, assets, or data, or for the acts of any provider, blockchain, wallet, or third party, any hold or freeze, market movement, your errors, or events beyond our control.
LucidSwap’s total liability for any claim is limited to the fees it actually received for the swap concerned. These limits do not exclude liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. You will indemnify LucidSwap against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by LucidSwap.
Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version with a new date. Changes apply from publication and do not alter the terms of a swap already created.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts at that place have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Before starting any proceeding, contact support and make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute.
