AML Policy.

This policy explains the limited role of the LucidSwap interface, the confirmation required before a swap, and the checks that independent liquidity providers may perform.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Scope

LucidSwap is a non-custodial interface that helps users request a quote and create a swap. Swap execution and settlement are performed by independent third-party liquidity providers. LucidSwap does not hold customer funds.

Customer confirmation

Before creating an order, the user must confirm that they accept the Terms of Use and this AML Policy. The confirmation is recorded with the order, together with the policy version. It is an order-level acceptance record, not a customer account.

By confirming, the user states that they are not acting on behalf of a sanctioned person or entity, are not using the interface from a restricted jurisdiction, and are not using it to launder money or finance prohibited activity.

Provider verification

Some providers may require KYC verification and supporting Source of Funds documents before completing an order or releasing a payout. These requirements are set and performed by the provider under its own risk and compliance policies.

The LucidSwap interface does not itself collect or store identity documents. If a provider requires verification, the user must satisfy that provider's requirements before the order can be completed.

A provider may also pause, review, delay, decline or refund an order, and may request additional information when required by applicable law or its risk policy. Those decisions are made by the provider, not by the LucidSwap interface.

Restricted use

The interface must not be used to evade sanctions, launder proceeds of crime, finance terrorism, or transact on behalf of another person without authority. Access may be restricted where required by a provider, a payment rail or applicable law.

Data and retention

The interface stores the order details needed to provide the service, including the acceptance record, for the retention period described in the Privacy Policy. It does not itself collect or store KYC documents; any verification required by a provider is handled under that provider's policy. Read the Privacy Policy.

Questions and changes

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@lucidswap.io. The policy may be updated when the service or provider requirements change; the version accepted with an order is stored with that order.
