How LucidSwap handles information when you use the service.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Information we process

We process the information needed to create, execute, and support a swap: wallet addresses, assets, networks, amounts, transaction hashes, order details, status, and the technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser details, and language preferences. We also process messages you send to support and information that is publicly available on the blockchain.

We do not require an account and do not collect your name, password, card details, private keys, or seed phrase. We do not use targeted advertising or third-party analytics.

How we use and share information

We use information to provide and monitor swaps, process refunds, investigate problems, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.

We share only what is necessary with the independent provider that executes the swap, our hosting and infrastructure providers, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and retention

We use a first-party language-preference cookie and a matching local-storage entry. They contain only your language choice. For aggregate traffic metrics, we also keep a random visitor id in local storage and record page views with the path, referrer host, country and device type. We do not store your IP or user agent in that analytics table. Cloudflare may set a security cookie at the edge. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics.

Orders and linked connection data are kept for up to one year. Quotes are kept for about two minutes. Aggregate page-view data is kept for up to 90 days. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the issue. Public blockchain records may remain available indefinitely.

Your rights and security

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Because there are no accounts, we identify an order by its order ID and may ask you to prove control of a linked wallet. Some requests may be limited by legal requirements, a legal hold, or the permanent nature of public blockchains.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no online system is completely secure. You are responsible for your wallets, devices, and keys. The service is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date changes when we do, and the new version applies from publication.
